The League is a five-week experience for riders 4-15 years of age, which includes instruction and racing, in equal measure, each session. Parents and Grandparents of riders can also participate in the League, and can do so for $60 off the Youth tuition.

The Spring 2024 season, runs five TUESDAY evenings, starting April 23, ending May 21, and will be run at 80/35 BMX in Ewing Park. Sessions run from 5:30PM-8:00PM.

Des Moines BMX League is a Beginners-Only program that takes riders gradually through the steps to becoming a BMX racer. It’s a great family atmosphere, and we often have three-generations of a family participating (adults ride for $60 off, with an enrolled child).

The $169 Tuition includes a League jersey, personalized number plate, season-end award and pizza party. Parents and Immediate family members of enrolled riders ride for $109, or $60-off the Youth tuition.

* Loaner equipment is limited in availability, and is offered on a first-come, first-served basis (in the order in which you sign up). This league does not require any special racing bike, and chances are that the bike your rider has in the garage will work just-fine.
*IMPORTANT*

– Riders must be able to ride a pedal bike, without training wheels, to participate in either Open House or League activities.
